How to Donate Your Used Glasses
Your local optometrist may collect your used glasses and sunglasses,
or you may prefer to send them directly to one of the 3 Lions Clubs that do glasses recycling.

As a guide for optometrists collecting glasses please send only glasses that fit the follwing criteria
As a guide for optometrists collecting glasses please send only glasses that fit the follwing criteria
- Frame- that is fit for wear eg not broken, crooked
- Lenses- coatings intact
- Prescription- Astigmatism no more than 0.75 with or against the rule +/- 20 degrees
- Anisometropia no more than 0.75DS
- Ideally single vision but we do accept bifocals and progressives
- Sunglasses- plano lenses and frame in good working condition, prescription as above
